Examinations for Urgent Eye Problems
By Appointment Only
NHS funded assessment of problems such as:
✔︎ red eye
✔︎ sore/painful eye
✔︎ minor eye injury
✔︎ sudden loss of vision
✔︎ sudden change in vision
✔︎ sudden onset visual disturbance e.g flashes or floaters
✔︎ sudden onset double vision
Wales General Ophthalmic Services (WGOS)
Vale Eyecare accept referrals from other optometry practices for:
✔︎ low vision assessments
✔︎ referral refinement of medical retina eye conditions
✔︎ monitoring of medical retina eye conditions
✔︎ independent prescribing optometry service
Please note
that Vale Eyecare doesn't sell glasses. Prescriptions will be issued if required, but will then need to be taken elsewhere.
